Content and removal
We act as a host: blocks are official embeds, links and headlines from third-party sources, and links shared by fans. Anyone can ask for a block to be removed through the report form or by email at [email protected], our single point of contact.
If you leave an email address, we confirm receipt within 48 hours. We act on every report within 7 days at most, and we remove clearly illegal content at once. Our Terms of use explain what fans may share and how moderation works.
Privacy policy
Reading the site
Reading pages sets no cookie. Players from YouTube and Spotify load only when you press play, and their own privacy policies then apply. We count anonymous views and clicks of sponsored spaces and ticket links to measure them, and we count visits per page with the kind of site they come from (a search engine, a social network) and the shares, as daily totals. These counts are not linked to your IP address. To count a visit only once a day, we keep a salted fingerprint of the connection for 24 hours, never the address itself. If you leave an email address in a report, we use it only to answer you and delete it after six months.
Card pictures (video thumbnails, article images) are displayed directly from the servers of YouTube (Google LLC) and of the news publishers we follow: 0.soompi.io, archive.org, billboard.com, coverartarchive.org, feeds.bbci.co.uk, gamespot.com, i.ytimg.com, ign.com, koreaboo.com, koreaherald.com, soompi.com, thumb.wikimedia.org, tvline.com, upload.wikimedia.org, wimg.heraldcorp.com. Your browser then connects to these servers, which receive your IP address and browser type; we send them no referrer and no cookie of ours. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in illustrating links without copying the works of their authors (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; Korea benefits from an EU adequacy decision. Free photos and album covers are shown from the servers of the Wikimedia Foundation (Wikimedia Commons) and the Internet Archive (Cover Art Archive), in the United States, on the same legal basis. Links shared by fans from other sites show no picture. You can block images in your browser: the site works without them. You may object to this processing (Art. 21 GDPR) by writing to the address above, and lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Pictures and headlines belong to their authors and are shown from their own servers; removal on request through the report form.
Follow and history in your browser
The pages you follow, the pages you visited and the date of your last visit are kept in your browser's local storage, on your device only. They are never sent to us: to show what is new, your browser only asks for the public news of these pages, with no identifier. Clearing your browser data erases them.
Alerts
If you turn on alerts for a page, we keep the delivery address your browser gives us and the pages you follow, nothing else: no name, no email, no IP address. Turning alerts off with the same button deletes this data at once. If you block notifications in your browser instead, it is deleted at the next alert, and in any case after 12 months without any alert.
Fan account
An account is only needed to vote, share links and ask for new pages. We keep your email address, your password (encrypted, we cannot read it), your username, your profile photo if you add one, your Google identifier if you sign in with Google, your votes, the links you share and the pages you ask for. Each vote keeps a salted fingerprint of the connection to detect automated or coordinated voting, never the IP address itself.
Legal bases: providing the service you signed up for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in keeping the site safe and the votes fair (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Only your username is public, next to the links you share. Your email address is never shown or sold. We only send service emails: sign-in and confirmation links, password reset, and the notice that a page you asked for is live. No newsletter, no advertising.
When you are signed in, a session cookie keeps you signed in; with "Stay signed in", a cookie keeps you signed in for 30 days. These cookies are strictly necessary and are set only when you sign in, never when you simply read pages.
How long we keep data
Your account is kept as long as it exists. You can delete it yourself at any time from "My account": your email, password and photo are erased at once, and your votes and shared links stay on the site without any link to you. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and password reset links after 60 minutes. Email addresses left in reports are deleted after six months.
Service providers
Hetzner Online GmbH (hosting, Germany); Cloudflare, Inc. (delivery and protection, United States, certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework); Brevo SAS (service emails, France); Google (only if you sign in with Google; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
Pages about public figures
Pages about artists, players and other public figures only use public information: Wikidata, Wikipedia and their official accounts and channels. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in informing fans about public activity (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Anyone concerned can ask for a correction or a removal through the report form.
Your rights
You can download all your account data and delete your account from "My account". You can also access, correct, delete or object to the use of your data by writing to [email protected]. We answer within one month. You can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
